Big Blacker Brother
Well, guys Big Brother 6 has started here in the U.k
This time there are a few more brown faces. Although they are not quite what you might expect. 2 black women, both at opposiote ends of the spectrum.
Two black men, again this time as diferent as they could be.
It seems C4 has finnally taken notice of people complaing about the vlack people on BB being too stereotypical or "uncle tommy".
I for one am glad to see the diversity being better represented, also it will better test the theory, of whether a black person can win Big Brother.
Do you watch Big Bro? whats your take on it all?

Really, who cares what colour someone is? It's about who the person is, not the colour of their skin. I don't know why people need to draw attention to black people in this way, and scrutinise them to see if they are "Uncle Toms" or "Down Brothas" etc... I find this attitude to be rather shallow and racially demeaning.

I am proud to say I have never watched an episode (are they episodes?) of any of the BBs.
My life is non the worse for not seeing them..

Look, mostly ti dont care what colour they are either, however, as person of colour I hope that the bblack people who go in to the BB house represent.THEMSELVES or are represented in a good light. nothing worse than ....Stereotypes.
That's my point. I was pleased that that there were more black faces this year as that should hopefully increase the chance that we dont get the normal stereotype or "token" minority Housemate.
